What is the free consultation?
A 20-minute video chat between you and one of our tutors about your child. It is free, once per family.
What do we talk about?
Whatever you want to know: what your child finds hard, how sessions work, which session length suits, and whether we are the right fit. It is a conversation, not a lesson.
Does my child need to be there?
No. The consultation is for you, the parent or carer.
Do I have to have a consultation before booking?
No. You can book a session straight away. The consultation is there if you would like to talk first.
How do I book it?
Sign up (about 2 minutes), choose the Free 20-Minute Consultation on Book a Session and pick a time. No card needed.
30-Minute Assessment
What is the assessment?
A 30-minute live session where one of our tutors works with your child through short, friendly activities to see what they can already do and what to teach first.
Is it a diagnosis or a test?
No. We are educational tutors and never diagnose. Nothing is passed or failed: it simply shows the tutor where to start.
Who needs to be there?
Your child, with an adult at home, and sitting nearby for children under 8, as in every session.
What do I get afterwards?
In the last few minutes the tutor tells you what they saw and where they would start.
Do we need an assessment before sessions?
No. It is optional. Many families start with a session or the free consultation.
Can I cancel or move it?
Yes, free until 24 hours before it starts, as for a session.
Can each of my children have one?
Yes. An assessment can be booked for any child. The free consultation is once per family.
