Why We Use Them

Spectrum Unlocked is free. There is no paywall on our guides, tools, or resources, and we want to keep it that way. A small commission on products we already recommend helps cover the cost of running the site so the rest of it can stay free for parents who need it.

Our Promise on Recommendations

A commission never changes what we recommend, what we say about it, or where it lands on a list. We pick products based on what actually fits the job for an autistic child and their family, using product specs, the patterns parents report, and the relevant research. We do not take payment to place a product higher, and we say so plainly when a product has trade-offs. If something is not a good fit, we tell you, affiliate link or not.

We also do not run pages around fake reviews or star ratings we made up ourselves. When we say a product is a good choice for a specific situation, we tell you the reasoning so you can judge it for yourself.
