- How is this different from the free final consonant deletion page?
- The free page shows all 36 pairs on screen with a home routine, and its one free sheet prints one pair for each ending. The pack prints every pair at every level: listening, saying, picture cards for games, phrases, sentences, home practice for each sound and a data sheet, in Color and Ink-Saver editions.
- Why is only the last letter underlined?
- Because the ending is the skill. Each closed word marks only the letters that spell its final sound, so pipe marks the last p and not the first, and the open word in each pair carries no mark at all. A child sees exactly where the sound they leave off belongs.
- Do I need a color printer?
- No. Every sheet comes twice: a full Color edition for teaching pages you might laminate, and a black-and-white Ink-Saver edition designed to print clean on any school copier or home printer. The picture cards are the only pages that need cutting; everything else prints and goes.
