Four work bins a student runs alone, each one a real part of keeping a home: match 16 tools to the job each one does on a mat that prints the tools in place; decide who to call for twelve things that go wrong at home, sorted to a mat of eight real trades, with the rule card carrying the two lines a young adult needs most, tell your landlord first, and if you smell gas, leave and call 911 from outside; put four simple fixes in order, four steps each, with the drain fix taught with a plastic snake and never a chemical; and sort 16 jobs into do it yourself or get help, with not sure, ask on the rule card. No real tool, bulb, glue or drain product is part of the pack: every card is a photograph. Every box prints its own cards, a mat, a rule card that ends with a way to ask, and a teacher key the student never needs to finish. three levels fade the support, the data sheet says what one point is in every box, and two copy-paste IEP goals are written for it.

Questions from teachers
- Who are these task boxes for?
- Teachers, paraprofessionals and job coaches working with teens and young adults from about 13 to 21 in special education, life skills and transition programs, and the families running the same decisions at home. Every card is a real tool or a real home problem photographed as it is, with no childish framing, and the rule cards speak to the student as the adult in the house.
- Does a student use real tools, glue or drain cleaner?
- No. Every card is a photograph, and the pack asks for nothing beyond print, laminate and cut. The box cutter and super glue pairs are identification only, with a safety line each on the rule card. A chemical drain cleaner is never a student step anywhere in the pack: the drain fix is taught with gloves, a cup plunger and a plastic drain snake, following Poison Control's and the manufacturers' own warnings, and the teacher key says a drain that has had a chemical poured in is a plumber's job.
- My students rent, or live in a group home. Does who-do-you-call still work?
- Yes, and the pack is built for it. The Box 2 rule card says to tell your landlord or building office first and to send it in writing, and the teacher key marks "my landlord" correct for the nine scenarios where that is the renter's real first call. The mat still names the trade who actually comes, because that is what the landlord sends. Write your building's number on the rule card before you laminate it.
- What does a student need to finish a box?
- Nothing the box does not print. Each box carries its own cards, a mat, and a rule card that ends with a way to ask; asking is scored as correct, never as an error. Card backs carry a small letter so a student can check their own work without the teacher key, which stays with the teacher and is handed over only for the self-check.
- What formats do I get, and how is it delivered?
- Print-ready PDFs in US Letter and A4, everything single-sided. Delivery is instant: the download unlocks the moment Stripe checkout completes, a copy of the link is emailed to you, and the files stay in your My Resources library behind a magic link. The pack is licensed for personal and single-classroom use by the purchaser.
