A work ready bundle is three job stations run as one course: the student works a real task at each, takes the same data at all three, and finishes with a portfolio that shows what job conditions suit them.

What is included

  • Three complete task box packs: Food Service, Office & Clerical, and Retail & Stocking, five boxes each
  • A six week rotation for three groups, so every group works every station and nobody waits for a bin
  • The two weeks written day by day, with the teacher move for each day
  • A wall chart for the room: this week I work at
  • One accuracy rule for all three stations, so their numbers can sit in one row
  • A work behaviour record that follows one student across all three jobs
  • One work portfolio: cover, five dividers, and a review page for an IEP or transition meeting
  • Every pack in US Letter and A4, with answer keys, three support levels and copy-paste IEP goals

Questions from teachers

What does the bundle add that the three packs do not have?
The part that only exists between them. Each pack teaches its own station well, but nothing in a single pack tells you who is where in week four, how to score a shelf and an envelope on the same scale, or what to hand an IEP team in June. That is the teacher kit: the rotation, the shared accuracy rule, one behaviour record for all three jobs, and one portfolio instead of three covers.
How does the rotation work with a whole class?
Three stations, three groups, two weeks each. Group A starts at Food Service, B at Office & Clerical, C at Retail & Stocking, then everyone moves, and by week six every group has worked every station. One printed station set serves the group working it, so nine students can all work at once without sharing a bin.
Do I need to buy the three packs separately as well?
No. The bundle contains all three complete packs, in US Letter and A4, exactly as they sell on their own. If you already own one, the bundle still saves against buying the other two plus the teacher kit.
What ages and levels is this for?
Teens in transition, roughly grades 6 to 12, working on prevocational and work readiness skills. Each box runs at three support levels: a finished model in view, the model taken away, then a timed session, so the same station serves a mixed group.
Is any of it editable or is it print only?
It is print and write. Everything prints in US Letter and A4, and the write-on sheets are the behaviour record, the data sheets in each pack, and the portfolio review page.

Packs that go together

Job Skills Task Boxes: Food Service

Five vocational work bins that between them teach a real cafe job: match twelve order tickets to the finished trays, roll napkin and cutlery sets against a production goal the student counts themselves, judge whether a table is reset and ready for the next customer, sort eighteen condiment station cards as full, low or empty and clear the empties first, and assemble twelve coffee orders across three cup sizes. Every card is coded so the answer keys can check work without printing the answer on the front. Copy-paste IEP goals with criteria and timeframes.

Job Skills Task Boxes: Office & Clerical

Five vocational work bins that between them teach a real office job, set in the back office of Valley Market. Students file twenty-eight staff cards by last name behind a six-tab mat, sort twenty envelopes into six trays and set aside the two that cannot be delivered instead of guessing, put a six-step envelope stuffing sequence in order and work to a production goal they count themselves, count out exactly the number of copies a job card asks for from squares the pack prints, and take a supply inventory that ends in a decision rather than a number. Every cut-apart card is coded so the answer keys can check work without printing the answer on the front. Copy-paste IEP goals with criteria and timeframes.

Job Skills Task Boxes: Retail & Stocking

Five vocational work bins that between them teach a real retail job, set in the clothing section of Valley Market. Students face a shelf to match a planogram card, reading each size off the garment's tag rather than judging the pile by eye, sort twenty gift cards into five brand pockets and then order each pocket by amount, put a six-step hanging sequence in order and work to a production goal they count themselves, audit twelve shelf tags against a laminated price list and write a fix slip for each of the four that are wrong, and decide which of twelve jobs on the floor gets done first. Every cut-apart card is coded so the answer keys can check work without printing the answer on the front. Every box also says what one point is on the data sheet, which support to fade and which tool must stay on the table, and what a student needs to be able to do before that box is the right box.
