Halloween sequencing cards turn the routines of the season into short picture sequences a young child can put in order. This pack holds six of them, putting on a costume, carving a pumpkin, trick-or-treating, decorating a treat bag, sorting my treats, the costume parade at school, each as cut-apart picture cards with a short sentence and a strip to place them on. Putting steps in order is the same skill a visual schedule builds every day, and the free Halloween I Spy adapted book gives the same child another gentle way into the season.

Halloween sequencing questions
- What are Halloween sequencing cards?
- They are picture cards that show the steps of one Halloween routine, like carving a pumpkin or trick-or-treating. A child cuts them apart and puts them in order on a strip, which practices the language of first, next and last along with the routine itself.
- Who are these cards for?
- They are made for kindergarten to second grade, in general education, special education and speech therapy. Every card has a picture and a short sentence, so a child who is not reading yet can still sequence from the pictures while you read the words aloud.
- How do the two versions differ?
- Every routine comes as a 4-step sheet and a gentle 3-step sheet. The gentle version keeps the beginning, middle and end of the routine on three cards, so a child new to sequencing can succeed first and then move up to the same routine in full.
- Why do the cards print mixed up?
- So the sheet never gives away the answer. On every sheet no card sits above its own slot, and the order is fixed, so a reprint gives the same sheet. The guide's answer key lists the right order for every sheet, which makes checking quick for you or for a classroom helper.
- Are the pictures scary?
- No. Every picture is friendly and made for young children: the costumes are a firefighter, a cat and an astronaut with every face showing, a grown-up does all the cutting on the pumpkin, and the jack-o'-lantern is lit by a battery light.
- What formats do I get, and how is it delivered?
- One ZIP with a guide and eight print-ready PDFs, one for each of the four child looks in US Letter and in A4. Delivery is instant: the download unlocks the moment checkout completes, a copy of the link is emailed to you, and the files stay in your My Resources library.
