Morning work for teens is a short daily worksheet routine that opens the school day the same way every time, so a student needs less support to start once the layout is familiar. Packet B holds twenty more undated daily sheets, a fresh set of twenty signs, prices, hygiene routines, kitchen scenes, and schedules, so a class that finished Packet A keeps the same routine with new material instead of repeating it. Every sheet has the same four boxes: today's date and weather, a life-skills question that rotates by weekday (a safety sign on Monday, next-dollar-up money on Tuesday, a hygiene step order on Wednesday, kitchen safe-or-not on Thursday, and a schedule to read on Friday), a real-world reading passage with two questions, and a get-ready checklist, at two levels so one packet fits a mixed class.

What is included

  • Twenty undated daily worksheet sheets, so you can start the packet on any day of the week
  • The same four boxes on every sheet: today and weather, a weekday life-skills question, a reading passage, and a get-ready checklist
  • A weekday rotation built from four shipped Teen Life Skills packs: a safety sign on Monday, next-dollar-up money on Tuesday, a hygiene step order on Wednesday, and kitchen safe-or-not on Thursday, all new items from Packet A
  • Four original Friday schedules to read, plus twenty real-world reading passages across six forms: sign, text, label, note, menu, and weather
  • Two levels of every sheet, Level 1 circle-the-answer and Level 2 write-the-answer, so one packet fits a mixed class

Questions from teachers

Who is this morning work pack for?
Teachers of teens and older students in autism, life skills, and transition programs who want a same-every-day warm up to start the class period. The reading passages and life-skills questions are written for secondary students, not little kids, while keeping one clear idea per box.
How is Packet B different from Packet A?
Same four-box layout, same rotation pattern, and same twenty-day structure as Packet A, but every sign, price, hygiene routine, kitchen scene, schedule, and reading passage is new. A class that finished Packet A can move straight into Packet B without repeating a single day, or a program can run the two packets in different classrooms at the same time.
What are the four boxes on each daily sheet?
Every sheet opens with today's date and weather, then a weekday life-skills question that rotates through a safety sign on Monday, next-dollar-up money on Tuesday, a hygiene step order on Wednesday, and kitchen safe-or-not on Thursday. Friday reads an original class schedule. The third box is a short real-world reading passage with two questions, in a form that cycles through sign, text, label, note, menu, and weather. The fourth box is a get-ready checklist the student checks off before starting the day.
How do the two levels work?
Level 1 students circle the answer from a set of choices. Level 2 students write the answer on a line. Both levels ask the same question on the same box, so the whole class can work the same sheet at the same time while each student answers at their own level.
Why are the sheets undated, and can I start midweek?
The sheets are undated so you can start the packet on any day and it still lands on the right weekday question, since day 1 opens on the pack's own Monday, day 2 on Tuesday, and so on through twenty days. Start the packet whenever your week begins and the rotation stays in order.
Where does the weekday content in the pack come from?
The Monday sign, Tuesday price, Wednesday hygiene routine, and Thursday kitchen scene are pulled from four already-published Teen Life Skills packs, Community Safety Signs & Scenarios, Grocery Store Math for Teens, Hygiene Routines, and Kitchen Safety & Appliance Task Boxes, so the images and facts match those packs exactly. The reading passages and Friday schedules are original to this pack.
What formats do I get, and are purchases refundable?
A single print-ready PDF in US Letter, 46 pages, print at 100 percent so the boxes stay sized correctly. Because it is an instant digital download, all sales are final; if a file will not open, email info@spectrumunlocked.com and Spectrum Unlocked will make it right.
