Visual recipes turn a snack or a bake into a sequence a student can follow, one step to a page with a photo and a verb. This fall edition, Series Vol. 4, adds six apple and pumpkin recipes: apple slices with dip, no-bake pumpkin energy bites, pumpkin muffins, roasted pumpkin seeds, apple nachos, caramel apple yogurt parfait. Each is a full-page six-step visual with a comprehension check and a vocabulary trio. Two of the six use a hot oven, and on those the adult sets the oven and takes the hot tin or sheet in and out at every level; the rest are no-cook. A before-you-start checklist, a reusable data sheet and IEP goals round it out. It continues the Visual Recipes line and is written for teens and young adults in life skills and transition programs.

Questions from teachers
- What are visual recipes, and who are these for?
- Visual recipes break a snack or a bake into one step per page, each with a photo, a verb and a short line, so a student can follow the sequence with as little reading as possible. This fall edition is written for teens and young adults from about 13 to 21 in special education, life skills and transition programs, and for families cooking the same recipes at home.
- Do any recipes use the oven, and how is safety handled?
- Yes, two of the recipes bake in a hot oven, and the rest are no-cook. On the oven recipes the adult sets the oven and takes the hot tin or sheet in and out with mitts at every level, so supervision never weakens as the student takes over the steps they can do. Hot food and roasted seeds cool completely before anyone eats them, and hands are washed before every recipe.
- What about allergies?
- Every recipe prints its own allergen line and a read-the-label reminder, and a combined allergen list for the whole pack is on the teacher page. Nuts, gluten, egg and dairy show up across the recipes, and sun-butter is used in place of nut butter. Check each student's dietary plan before you cook, and read the label on any dip, topping or mix a recipe does not name.
- How does it fit with the other Visual Recipes volumes?
- This is Series Vol. 4, built on the same six-step engine as the earlier volumes, so a classroom already using the no-cook, microwave, stovetop or holiday volume can add it with nothing new to learn. It cross-links with those volumes as the fall entry in the series, and works on its own for a fall cooking unit or a classroom party.
- What formats do I get, and how is it delivered?
- Print-ready PDFs in US Letter and A4. Delivery is instant: the download unlocks the moment Stripe checkout completes, a copy of the link is emailed to you, and the files stay in your My Resources library behind a magic link, so a lost download is never a problem. The pack is licensed for personal and single-classroom use by the purchaser.
