- How do I use it with a student?
- Print the recipe, gather the tools and food it lists, and run it one step at a time, letting the student do as much as they safely can. Then ask the comprehension check questions and mark the data sheet.
- Is it safe, and does it cover allergies?
- The sample recipe prints its own allergen line and a read-the-label reminder. If it uses a hot oven, the adult sets the oven and takes the hot tray in and out with mitts, and the food cools before anyone eats it. Check the student's dietary plan before you cook.
