Questions from teachers

Who is this community safety pack for?
Teachers of teens and older students in autism, life skills, and transition programs, and anyone teaching community-based instruction. The photos and layout are made to look age-appropriate for secondary students, not like a picture book for little kids, while keeping one clear idea per card.
Which signs and scenarios are included?
Twenty real-world signs cover streets, buildings, and hazards: stop, walk and don't walk, crosswalk, exit, entrance, do not enter, restroom, wet floor, danger, no smoking, poison, first aid, emergency exit, bus stop, railroad crossing, one way, push and pull, and out of order. Fifteen scenario cards then ask a student to read a sign and choose the safe response, each with a short why.
How do the three levels work?
Level 1 has the student match a sign to its name, Level 2 has them state what the sign tells you to do, and Level 3 has them answer the scenario cards and then locate and follow posted signs on a community walk while you take data. One purchase stretches across your whole caseload.
What formats do I get, and how are the cards used?
A single print-ready PDF in US Letter. The sign cards print as cut-apart flashcards with the sign on the front and its meaning on the back, so students can self-quiz. Print at 100 percent, and print the sign pages two-sided if you want true flashcards.
Is this a substitute for real safety supervision, and are purchases refundable?
No. This is a classroom teaching resource, not a substitute for supervision; always pair sign instruction with real community-based practice and follow each student's plan. Because it is an instant digital download, all sales are final; if a file will not open, email info@spectrumunlocked.com and Spectrum Unlocked will make it right.
