Fall sequencing cards turn the jobs and outings of autumn into short picture sequences a young child can put in order. This pack holds seven of them, picking apples, making applesauce, visiting a pumpkin patch, raking leaves, making a leaf rubbing, making a pinecone bird feeder, planting a tulip bulb, each as cut-apart picture cards with a short sentence and a strip to place them on. Putting steps in order is the same skill a visual schedule builds every day, and the free fall worksheets give the same child seasonal tracing and cutting practice.

Fall sequencing questions
- What are fall sequencing cards?
- They are picture cards that show the steps of one fall routine, like picking apples or raking leaves. A child cuts them apart and puts them in order on a strip, which practices the language of first, next and last along with the routine itself.
- Who are these cards for?
- They are made for kindergarten to second grade, in general education, special education and speech therapy. Every card has a picture and a short sentence, so a child who is not reading yet can still sequence from the pictures while you read the words aloud.
- How do the two versions differ?
- Every routine comes as a 4-step sheet and a gentle 3-step sheet. The gentle version keeps the beginning, middle and end of the routine on three cards, so a child new to sequencing can succeed first and then move up to the same routine in full.
- Why do the cards print mixed up?
- So the sheet never gives away the answer. On every sheet no card sits above its own slot, and the order is fixed, so a reprint gives the same sheet. The guide's answer key lists the right order for every sheet, which makes checking quick for you or for a classroom helper.
- Can a child work out the order from the pictures alone?
- Yes. Every step leaves something the next picture needs: the basket fills up as the apples are picked, the leaves are raked into a pile before the jump, and the crayon rubbing shows the leaf only after the paper goes over it. A child who is not reading yet can reason the order out from what each picture shows.
- Who uses the knife and the stove in the pictures?
- A grown-up cuts the apples, and no child holds a knife. The child washes the apples, mashes the soft cooked pieces and eats the applesauce, which are jobs a kindergartner can really do. The bird feeder uses sunflower seed butter, so the pictures stay nut-free.
- What formats do I get, and how is it delivered?
- One ZIP with a guide and eight print-ready PDFs, one for each of the four child looks in US Letter and in A4. Delivery is instant: the download unlocks the moment checkout completes, a copy of the link is emailed to you, and the files stay in your My Resources library.
