Who is this for?

It is for the teacher or program lead who needs to bring a new paraprofessional up to speed quickly. Nothing in it assumes the aide has done this before, and nothing in it is beneath an aide who has.

Are the templates something I fill in?

Yes. The student at-a-glance page, the roles table, the weekly check-in form, and the welcome letter are print-and-write templates you complete for your own room and students before you hand them over.

Can I use this across my classroom or team?

The pack is licensed for personal and single-classroom use by the purchaser. Use it with every aide on your own team. If another classroom or building wants their own set, please buy an additional license so each teacher is covered.

What formats do I get? Can I edit it?

You get all of them. The kit comes as a print-ready PDF in US Letter and A4, a type-in fillable PDF, an editable Word document you can open in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, and a Google Doc you copy to your own Google Drive to edit online. Type your own names, dates, and notes straight into the welcome letter, the roles table, the at-a-glance template, and the weekly check-in form on a computer, then print, or print it blank and write in by hand.
