A homeschool ID card is a card your school issues, not a government ID. Stores that give teacher or student discounts set their own rules, so check with the store before you go.

A tall badge is the easiest ID card to wear. It hangs from a lanyard at co-op, on a group field trip or at a homeschool day at the museum, and it stays easy to read while kids move around.

The sample is a student badge for Sam Rivera, but the same badge works for the teaching parent: change the Role line to Teacher in the maker. Customize in Editor opens it with the Vertical Badge style already picked and the strip at the top left clear for a slot punch.

Frequently asked questions

Will this badge fit a lanyard?
Yes. It prints 2.125 x 3.375 inches, the size of a standard vertical badge holder. To punch the card itself, tick Leave room for a slot punch in the maker, so nothing prints in the strip at the top.
Can I make a teacher badge with it?
Yes. Open it in the maker, put in the teaching parent's name and photo, and change the Role line to Teacher.
Is a homeschool ID badge an official ID?
A homeschool ID card is a card your school issues, not a government ID. Stores that give teacher or student discounts set their own rules, so check with the store before you go.
Do I need a slot punch?
No. A clear badge holder with a clip works without one. A slot punch is a small hand tool that cuts the slot a lanyard clip goes through, for when you want to clip the laminated card itself.
What size does the card print?
2.125 x 3.375 inches, a standard ID card stood upright, so it fits a vertical badge holder.
