Mid-year amendment meeting
When to use: Use when you are walking into a meeting called to amend the IEP between annual reviews. The team will discuss specific changes to services, goals, or accommodations.

[ ] Whether the amendment can be made by written agreement under 34 CFR 300.324(a)(4) without convening a full team meeting (if both parties agree). [ ] "Under 34 CFR 300.324(a)(4), amendments by written agreement require both my consent AND the district's. I always have the right to ask for a full team meeting instead." [ ] Under 34 CFR 300.324(a)(6), even when an amendment is made without a meeting, the parent must be informed in writing and given a copy of the revised IEP. [ ] Under 34 CFR 300.503, every IEP team decision (proposal or refusal) must be documented in Prior Written Notice. [ ] I can request a full IEP team meeting at any time under 34 CFR 300.324(b)(1).
