- What should a speech therapy lesson plan include?
- A goal area, one observable objective, the targets you will actually run, and a timed flow so a covering clinician can deliver it. The piece most templates skip is the scoring: this plan pairs the session with a trial record so the data comes off the same page you taught from.
- How many trials per target should an articulation session run?
- Ten per target is the working standard because it makes accuracy readable at a glance: eight of ten is eighty percent without arithmetic. That is why the record prints ten numbered cells and an accuracy box rather than a tally.
- How do I score a prompted response?
- Mark the trial and record the level that got it: independent, verbal cue, visual cue, or model. A correct production at model level is real progress and belongs in the data, but it is not the same as independent, and collapsing the two is how a goal looks met before it is.
